also, while we're on the topic of space: I am totally and utterly bummed out that I am disqualified from being an astronaut... for being too tall!

(The Canadian space agency is actively recruiting for shorter astronauts, and all you need is decent blood pressure and some sort of science degree. Much to the delight of my labmates. The deadline is the 26th.)
