upstaged!



Ahh! Professor Martyn Poliakoff, of the always entertaining Periodic Table of Videos, tries to upstage me by patterning a really tiny periodic table onto a strand of his own hair.

I'd like to point out that his pattern is still much, much larger than mine. And so I retain the title of world's smallest message for an internet blog thing!

I guess I'm a little late to the They Might Be Giants party, but this is certified geeky awesome:



I'm just going to put this out there: Here Comes Science is the best album title of 2009. Anyone looking for an early infiniflux Christmas present (either for me or another reader)?

While on the topic of elements in song, you really can't go wrong with the classic Tom Lehrer "Elements" song. Watch him rhyme Harvard with discovered and totally get away with it!
